Customer Guide to Gating

OnSchedule customers will select a date for their project to "gate" before entering plan review. Gating is the process of checking that the electronic plans and supporting documents customers submit through Code Enforcement's Electronic Plan Management (EPM) application are packaged and formatted correctly.

Code Enforcement's formatting and packaging requirements for submitted plans are not difficult, but they are meticulous. Incorrect formatting or packaging can result in the project being sent back to the customer for changes, which can delay the start of plan review.
